Rianne Weersink works as a pharmacist at the department of Clinical Pharmacy in the Deventer Hospital in the Netherlands. She earned a Master’s degree in Pharmacy at the University of Groningen. In 2019, she completed her PhD on medication safety in patients with liver cirrhosis. Her research focusses on pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes of medication due to impaired liver function in patients with liver cirrhosis. In 2019, she joined the DILI expertise center at the University of Málaga for three months to study characteristics and outcomes of DILI in the elderly. She is currently in training to become a hospital pharmacist in the Deventer Hospital.
