I am part of the International TransBioLine IMI2 Consortium (www.transbioline.com) working on drug-induced liver injury.
I am developing experimental diagnostics for chronic liver injury and clinical application of disease biomarkers in patient stratification. Projects include mechanistic, genomic and expression studies, analysis of genetic risk factors and biomarkers of damage for liver disease and related metabolic conditions. I am involved in translational clinical studies involving patient immune-phenotyping via Cy-TOF, single-cell RNA sequencing, dietary interventions, and imaging, being responsible for lab protocols and training, public engagement and patient involvement activities, development of longitudinal cohorts and bio-sample collections.
