Iulian Secrieru is a researcher of the Vladimir Andrunachievici Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, Moldova State University. His scientific work is focused on medical informatics, knowledge acquisition and engineering, AI algorithms and techniques, cognitive graphics, intelligent systems, decision support system, computer-aided systems.
He participated in creation of a knowledge base for diagnostics of liver diseases based on ultrasound features and in developing of a scoring for portal hemodynamics disorders severity in liver cirrhosis assessment by duplex ultrasound.
He is looking to bridge the gap between medical data providers (clinicians), data and knowledge engineers, medical software developers and other medical diagnostics stakeholders.
He participated in more than 35 national and international projects and is the author of more than 60 scientific publications.
