Ismael Alvarez, MPH, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the Spanish DILI registry at the Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Málaga y Plataforma en Nanomedicina-IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND and the University of Málaga.
He is member of the Working Group 4 (Design and endpoints in clinical DILI investigations and trials) in the international project COST Action CA17112 project (Prospective European Drug-Induced Liver Injury Network), and the Working Group 10 (Observational studies) of the Spanish Clinical Research Network (SCReN).
His main interests as an epidemiologist lie on the development of clinical studies and statistical analysis of data to identify characteristic features of drug-induced liver injury cases, causative agents and risk factors.
